Our Third Annual Trip to The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and "Free Greg Kihn Concert, (we don't like Greg, joke).  We spent two days at the beach it was great.

The First Annual "KihnCert" with The Greg Kihn Band, Eddie Money, Jefferson Starship, and Lynard Skynard.  Wow, The Pérez kids and us, we had a blast.  Our Best Friends Richard, Betsy, and Maria (Rich's Mom) all joined us.  See the picture to the right.

The summer 2002 wasn't all play, we did do a lot of work.  Benjamin began his Bass Guitar lessons with Ryan Kihn, son of Greg Kihn, and lead guitar player in the Greg Kihn band.  Him and Ben became good friends.  Ben stopped taking his lessons in January 2003, when he started with the 7th grade Jazz Band.  Ben also plays his clarinet, which he earned a Excellent rating at a competition at San Jose State University.  Way to go Ben!.  He auditions for the 8th grade jazz band this fall 2003.

Alyssa Pérez started High School.  And ran for the Cross Country Team.  And she ran for Varsity, and placed in the top five in a few meets.  Which is great for a freshmen.  Alyssa is also taking Drama, She is "The Drama Queen".  Way to go Alyssa!

Randy Pérez, also ran Cross Country and earned a few ribbons.  Randy also wrestled for his school and joined the local wrestling club at the High School, and took 2nd in the County for his class, which is also great for his first year.  Randy also earned many medals, for first and second place in the weekend tournaments for 2003.  The high school coach already can't wait to get Randy this fall........Way to Go Randy!

This spring 2003, Randy and Ben were Baptized, with our Best Friend Richard Anderson as their GodFather.  It was great ceremony.

Also, Randy, Aly, and Ben received their First Communion, and Confirmation with the Church.  With ceremonies at the Cathedral in Downtown San Jose, at our Church on the Easter Vigil.

Joey and Maria, keep going supporting each other and our children.  We have some fun planned this summer 2003, starting tonight with a Concert, 5/16/2003

You just have to love the 80's, Which is the era that Joey, Maria, and Richard grew up in.  We just got to have more............Yes, we are taking the kids.....
